Channel 2 interview with US Ambassador Dan Shapiro

Here’s an interview in English by Channel 2 television’s Yonit Levy with US Ambassador to Israel Dan Shapiro, who’s talking about Iran and trying to downplay the differences between the US and Israel on the Iranian issue.

For those of you who are more comfortable in Hebrew, there’s a Hebrew summary here.

Note how hard he works to duck the Dempsey statement (which he never did address). What’s necessary here is for Obama to say something about stopping Iran aside from claiming that ‘defense cooperation has never been better.’ Don’t hold your breath waiting for that to happen.
