Because we have zrirus for mitzvos and Torah.
In my opinion it is similar to someone saying ,”HEY GUYS LOOK I EAT KOSHER. LOOK? SEE?” it’s nice that they are tznius, but i most certainly don’t think it’s something to brag about.
Never EVER have I met a BT or convert who was braggy. On the contrary, all of them are always erlich and humble.
